Background: 

The Jewish Fund of Ukraine (JFU) aims to strengthen the Jewish community in Ukraine through programming in the fields of Jewish education, culture, social welfare, community development publications of Jewish books and international networking. The JFU organizes concerts festivals, Jewish days of culture and runs youth projects. It is involved in Holocaust and anti-racism education, as well as support work for elderly Jews and Holocaust survivors. The JFU also conducts research projects that aim to preserve Jewish memory of past communities and warn of renewed hatred and racism.

Capacity building project: 

To organize a three-day workshop for volunteers who will be trained to work in Jewish social facilities and then placed for practical experience in communal facilities such as care homes or community centres, in order to recruit additional people to support care services for the elderly and people with disabilities.
