The L.A. Pincus Fund for Jewish Education in the Diaspora

The Pincus Fund was established in Jerusalem in 1977. It has approved projects in more than 60 countries. 
It is committed to raising standards and promoting excellence in all areas of Jewish education and supports new and innovative educational projects in formal and informal Jewish education in Jewish communities.
The Fund accepts applications from local, non profit organizations outside Israel, with the exception of the United States.
Even more important than the financial support that the Fund gives, is the  professional guidance and assistance to applicants from the time of the conception of the project to its realization as an educational project of a high standard.

The Fund works principally in the following areas:
• Training and in-service training of educational personnel
• Establishment and expansion of educational institutions 
• Informal and adult education
• Development of curricula and educational materials
• Research in specific areas of Jewish education
• Establishment of Jewish Kindergartens in the Diaspora
• Jewish Special Education
• Jewish Education in Small Communities
• Use of Multimedia in Jewish Education
